In life there are a couple of sure things and one of them is that for every action there is a reaction. I'm reminded of that fact each time I attend my cycle class. We are instructed to turn the resistance knob the tightens the flywheel. "Push/pull," are the words that ring in the atmosphere. With each pull and pull our bodies are being conditioned to be better, strong and faster. That is similar to the process that occurs in our lives on a daily basis. Whether it's trying to get up for an early morning task, seeking to get our children to understand that we as parents have an unconditional love for them or reminding ourselves that our body does agree with the thought that...water is more beneficial than that carbonated beverage. We go through "push/pull" experiences everyday, whether voluntary or involuntary. They attribute to making us more effective people.
There is no better example of the greatest conquer of the "push/pull" experience than Jesus Christ. He endured all the public persecution, the lack of understanding from His own family and abandonment of His disciples. His life of prayer, fasting and obedience to His Father are examples of how to be conquerors of the daily "push/pull". After all He did inform us, in the Bible, that we would do greater things.
Keep this saying , "Push/Pull," in mind as you conquer daily resistance.
Remember: "Yet in all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Romans 8:37
Until next time...
